Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe, the newly confirmed District Chief Executive Officer for North Tongu has revolved to lobby the President to revive the Juapong Textile Factory as promised and “that is my top priority”.
Delivering her confirmation speech on Tuesday, 8th April, 2025, Madam promised to follow up with
provision of resettlements and compensation
for the victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage.
She also talked about constructing of the Dorfor Adidome Bridge, and work hand-in-hand with other stakeholders for the establishment the satellite campus of the University of Health and Allied Sciences as part of a few of the major initiatives outlined in party’s manifesto
for the North Tongu District by President John Dramani Mahama.
She however, acknowledged, the fact that North Tongu District faces several challenges, particularly in education, healthcare, water and sanitation, and road infrastructure but with your support, “especially my esteemed chiefs, queens, assembly members, and the entire NDC party, we shall address these challenges to improve the lives of our people”.
She expressed her profound gratitude to the President and the Assembly
Members for her overwhelming confirmation pledging to work with the MP for the area, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, for his relentless efforts to
improve the lives of the constituents.
