Speaker S.K Alban Bagbin of Ghana’s Parliament inaugurated the second meeting of the second session of the ninth parliament with a call for unity, collaboration, and dedication among members. Emphasizing the importance of effective governance, he urged lawmakers to prioritize the nation’s development and address pressing issues facing Ghana.
In his opening remarks, Speaker Bagbin highlighted the significance of parliamentary oversight, transparency, and accountability in strengthening democracy. He also expressed optimism about the parliament’s role in fostering economic growth, social stability, and national cohesion.
