The Majority Caucus of Parliament has concluded a successful two-day retreat in Ho, the Volta Regional Capital with Members pledging renewed energy and focus to govern well and deliver on the promises made to Ghanaians.
The retreat was organized by Majority Chief Whip, Rockson-Nelson Etse Dafeamekpor, under the leadership of Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga.
It brought together MPs to reflect, strategize, build capacity, and strengthen collective resolve to advance the government’s legislative agenda.
In a Facebook post by MP for Ketu North, Edem Agbana at the end of the retreat, the Caucus expressed sincere appreciation to the Ayariga-led leadership for bringing members together and think together as colleagues with common interest.
According to him, “The retreat reinforced our shared commitment to providing effective leadership and delivering results that improve the lives of the Ghanaian people,”.
A key focus of the two-day engagement was strategizing on the implementation of policies promised by the party to create a meaningful and impactful environment for all citizens.
Members agreed that the deliberations had re-energized the Caucus and aligned it toward achieving the administration’s development objectives.
“May our collective efforts continue to move Ghana closer to her destiny,” Mr. Agbana stressed.
The Ho retreat forms part of efforts by the Majority to deepen coordination between the Executive and Legislature as government ramps up delivery in the coming months.
