President John Dramani Mahama today met with Governor Tony Evers of Wisconsin State, USA, at the Presidency, as part of the Governor’s trade mission to Accra.
The visit reflects growing international confidence in Ghana’s economy following the successful completion of the IMF programme.
President Mahama used the opportunity to highlight key government initiatives, including the 24-Hour Economy programme and the newly established Accelerated Export Development Advisory Committee, all aimed at positioning Ghana as a competitive, export-driven economy.

The President also expressed strong interest in exploring agricultural partnerships and other business opportunities with Wisconsin State.
Governor Evers, leading a business delegation, reaffirmed his commitment to building global partnerships and showcasing Wisconsin as a prime destination for business growth.
