Volta Regional Representative on the Council of State, Dr. Gabriel Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple, has been named a Guest Speaker for the Council of Ewes Associations of North America (CEANA) 2026 convention set for September 3–7, 2026 in Bethesda, Maryland, USA.
Announcing his participation, Dr. Kwamigah-Atokple said he is honored to be part of an exceptional lineup of leaders whose insights and experiences are expected to inspire meaningful conversations and lasting impact.

The annual CEANA convention brings together Ewe communities across North America to deliberate on development, culture, unity, and diaspora engagement. This year’s event is expected to focus on strengthening ties between the diaspora and Ghana, particularly the Volta Region, and advancing socio-economic development initiatives.
The Council of Ewes Associations of North America serves as an umbrella body for Ewe associations across the United States and Canada, promoting cultural heritage and community development.
