The Member of Parliament for Nkwanta South, Geoffrey Kini, has commenced another phase of drilling mechanised water boreholes across communities in the constituency as part of efforts to improve access to potable water for residents.

Hon. Kini personally led the drilling team to Odumase, where two mechanised boreholes were drilled.
The team subsequently moved to the Nkwanta West Electoral Area, where another borehole was drilled, and later to the Nsana Zongo Electoral Area, where an additional borehole was drilled.

The initiative forms part of the MP’s continued commitment to addressing the water needs of communities across Nkwanta South and ensuring that residents, particularly those in underserved areas, have access to reliable sources of potable water.
Residents in the beneficiary communities expressed their happiness and appreciation for the intervention.

They described the project as timely and important, noting that access to a dependable water supply will significantly improve their daily lives and reduce the difficulties associated with travelling long distances in search of water.
The residents thanked Hon. Geoffrey Kini for responding to their concerns and bringing this important intervention closer to them.

They expressed hope that the facilities will be completed and made operational soon.
The latest drilling exercise further demonstrates the MP’s commitment to bringing development closer to the people and addressing some of the pressing needs of communities across the Nkwanta South Constituency.
