The Ghana Law Society is set to hold its maiden Annual Bar Conference on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, bringing together legal practitioners and stakeholders to discuss the future of the legal profession in Ghana.
The inaugural event, scheduled to take place at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, will be held under the theme “Legal Reforms: The Place of the Ghanaian Lawyer.”
The conference forms part of the Ghana Law Society’s efforts to promote the welfare of lawyers, strengthen professionalism at the Bar and create a platform for dialogue on issues affecting the legal profession.
Ahead of the event, General Secretary of the Ghana Law Society, Lawyer Sam Atukwei Quaye, has highlighted the Society’s role and encouraged members of the legal community to participate in the landmark gathering.
The conference is expected to provide an opportunity for lawyers to exchange ideas, build professional networks and engage in discussions on legal reforms and the evolving role of Ghanaian lawyers.
The Society says the event is open to seasoned practitioners, young lawyers and others with an interest in the development of the legal profession.
The maiden Annual Bar Conference is expected to combine professional engagement with discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing lawyers as Ghana’s legal landscape continues to evolve.
