The campaign’s launch marked a significant milestone in the efforts to secure the educational rights of every African girl, especially those in emergencies, hard-to-reach communities, and marginalized circumstances.

The event featured thought-provoking presentations from Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana and chairperson for the event , Prof. Smile Dzisi, Deputy DG (Management Service) of the GES and the Guest Speaker Prof. Nana Ama Brown Klutse, Ag. CEO of the Environmental Protection Agency in Ghana.

A dynamic panel discussion, moderated by Mrs. Rhoda Enchil, Programme Officer at UNICEF Ghana, featured diverse perspectives on promoting girls’ participation in STEM education.

The #AfricaEducatesHer Campaign is a call to action for collective commitment to securing the educational rights of every African girl. The campaign’s success will depend on the collaboration and efforts of all stakeholders
