Real estate executive and legal practitioner, Don Emmanuel Agbanyo has been officially called to the Ghana Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor on Friday, October 9, 2026.

Mr. Agbanyo was among 1,568 newly qualified lawyers called to the Bar for the 63rd Call to the Bar Ceremony organized by the General Legal Council at the ICGC Christ Temple, Teshie Bush Road, Accra.


The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Justice and Chairman of the General Legal Council, Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, with the Attorney-General, Justices of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, and leadership of the Ghana Bar Association in attendance.
Mr. Agbanyo completed his Professional Law Programme at the Ghana School of Law, Makola (2026) after obtaining his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Mountcrest University College in 2023.

An accomplished multidisciplinary professional, he holds a Master of Arts in Peace, Security and Intelligence Management from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (2020), an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Accra Business College (2019), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Ghana (2012).
Beyond academics, Mr. Agbanyo is known for his leadership and strategic management experience across legal, corporate, real estate, education and public policy sectors.
His areas of expertise include Legal Research and Analysis, Contract Drafting and Negotiation, Corporate Governance, Regulatory Compliance, Property and Real Estate Law, Dispute Resolution, and Public Relations.

During his time at the Ghana School of Law, he served as Vice President of the SRC, 2025/2026, and previously as Majority Leader of Students’ Parliament and Member of the SRC General Assembly at the University of Ghana City Campus (2010-2012).
He also served as SRC President of Akatsi Teacher Training College (2003-2004), among other leadership roles.
With his call to the Bar, Mr. Agbanyo brings a unique combination of legal expertise and executive business acumen, with years of experience leading real estate development projects, handling land acquisition, regulatory approvals, property transactions and stakeholder negotiations.
He is expected to practice in the areas of Corporate and Commercial Law, Property Law, Contract Management and Legal Advisory Services.
The 2026 Call to the Bar is described as one of the largest in Ghana’s history, with prominent personalities including Ministers Samuel Nartey George, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, and media personalities Naa Ashorkor, Umaru Sanda Amadu and Ayisha Ibrahim also called.
