The Member of Parliament for South Dayi and the Majority Chief Whip, Lawyer Rockson-Nelson Kwami Etse Dafeamekpor and the District Chief Executive for the area, Courage Kwame Kokroko inspected ongoing projects in the Constituency
on Sunday, 22rd February, 2026.

They started at Government College of Education (GOVCO), where the 10-year abandoned auditorium is 95% complete.

A statement issued and signed by Jonas Anyadi a.k.a Abor, the Constituency Communications Officer thanked Mr. Dafeamekpor and DCE, and praised the contractor and advised on rainwater harvesting, directing them to estimate for a water reservoir construction, which he MP Dafeamekpor will fund.

The team proceeded to Peki Senior High Secondary Technical School (PESTECH), where a contractor was paid for the administration block completion.

At PESTECH, 500 chairs and 500 tables were delivered, with the same quantity to be delivered to Peki Senior High Secondary School (PESCO) and Kpeve Senior High Secondary Technical (KPESTECH) Rockson-Nelson Kwami Etse Dafeamekpor said.

At PESCO, the dining hall contractor was absent, prompting Hon. Dafeamekpor and Hon. Kokroko to promise follow-ups for completion.

They honored invitations to the Peki State Annual Thanksgiving Service, aiming to unite Peki communities and fund developmental projects.

This year’s event was held at Peki-Tsame school Park, with His Royal Majesty Deiga Kodzo Dei XI and Divisional Chiefs in attendance.

Dafeamekpor announced that Peki Town Roads projects including Peki-Dzake to Anum and Tsatee-Kpalime to Tsibu are awarded, starting April 2026.

The team visited the housing project site at Kpeve, praising the progress.

They inspected the 24-kilometer road construction site, commending SANAM GHANA LIMITED, led by Ing. Gabriel Boateng, Ing. Dennis Awukutse, and Christian.

Finally, they attended the 50th anniversary of EPC Tongor-Tsanakpe, with Hon. Dafeamekpor promising continued support.

He thanked the EPC for their continued support for the NDC.

The Moderator of the General Assembly, Rt. Rev. Dr. Lt. Col. Bliss Divine Kofi Agbeko Rtd thanked President John Dramani Mahama through Hon Dafeamekpor for supporting development projects, citing the donation of a Toyota Fortuner to EPC General Assembly.

The Team led by Rockson-Nelson Kwami Etse Dafeamekpor (MP and MCW) included Courage Kwame Kokroko (DCE), John Abotsi (Constituency Treasurer and YEA District Director), Alhaji Suley Shaibu (Dep. Constituency Organiser and NADMO Director), Bright Mensah Mensah (Director of Elections, South Dayi Constituency, NDC) and Fidelis Kuuvem (NADMO Deputy, Operations).
The rest are: Godwin Mantey Etornam (Assembly Member, Government Appointee), Christiana Adzokpa (Assembly Member, Government Appointee), Newell Asamoah Quampah (Chairman, Peki-Blengo JHS branch), Courage Bonti (Secretary, Blengo EP JHS and Assembly Member, Peki-Blengo), John Ransford Bobi (Ward Coordinator, Avetile East, Assembly Member, Government Appointee), Emmanuel Amoah (Deputy Constituency Communications Officer, Assembly Member, Government Appointee), Godway Yaw Asimah (Branch Youths Organiser, Peki-Wudome JHS), and Kelvin Bribinti (Branch Organiser, Peki-Dzogbati EP Primary A).
