A strong code of ethics is necessary to promote transparency, accountability, and responsibility in geoscientific work.

He said, the institute should also leverage technology, including artificial intelligence, to enhance its work.

Collaboration with local and international bodies is crucial for growth, and the institute should pursue partnerships for knowledge exchange and research opportunities.
