The Member of Parliament for Nkwanta South, Geoffrey Kini, has commissioned a newly completed CHPS Compound at Vume, an island community in the Nkwanta South Constituency of the Oti Region.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Kini said the facility represents an important step in efforts to bring quality and accessible healthcare closer to the people.
According to him, the CHPS Compound will provide timely healthcare services, support emergency response and help reduce the burden of malaria and other preventable diseases in Vume and surrounding communities.
He expressed gratitude to the people of Vume for their patience, support and commitment throughout the execution of the project.
He also commended the Municipal Chief Executive for Nkwanta South, Hon. Joseph Awal Antwi, and all stakeholders whose contributions have helped improve the wellbeing of constituents.
“As your Member of Parliament, I remain committed to supporting initiatives that improve healthcare, education, infrastructure and the overall development of our constituency. Together, we will continue to build a stronger and healthier Nkwanta South,” Hon. Kini stated.
