The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology & Innovations, Honourable Samuel Nartey George, today welcomed a delegation from the ECOWAS Commission on a courtesy call aimed at strengthening collaboration on digital innovation and regional development initiatives.
During the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to fostering partnerships that promote innovation, knowledge sharing, and regional cooperation. Discussions highlighted the importance of working together to advance digital transformation efforts and support initiatives that create opportunities for young people across the region.

The ECOWAS delegation expressed appreciation for the Ministry’s continued support and leadership in regional programmes, including the ongoing hackathon initiative, while the Minister reiterated Ghana’s commitment to collaboration and building solutions that benefit the wider West African community.
