GOIL PLC is pleased to announce the official assumption of office by Mr. Edward Abambire Bawa as the Acting Group Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director (CEO & MD). His appointment marks a seamless transition following the tenure of Mr. Jacob Kwabena Adjei, who served GOIL in various capacities for 18 years before being appointed Managing Director in December 2024.
At a durbar held to formally introduce Mr. Bawa to staff after his engagement with the management team, he expressed deep appreciation for the contributions of his predecessor in steering GOIL onto a path of growth and resilience. He reaffirmed his commitment to driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring the company’s sustainable expansion.
