Mahama Ayariga, Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, has undertaken a working visit to Kumasi to assess the progress of the Kejetia Market Phase II project and engage stakeholders on the steps required to advance its completion.

The visit provided an opportunity for Hon. Mahama Ayariga to inspect ongoing works firsthand and engage relevant stakeholders on the project’s current status, challenges affecting its completion, and practical measures needed to move the project forward.

The Kejetia Market Phase II project is a significant development for the Kumasi Metropolis, with the potential to further strengthen commercial activity and improve the trading environment within the city.
The visit forms part of Hon. Mahama Ayariga’s commitment to strengthening engagement with local authorities, monitoring development projects on the ground, and ensuring that projects under the Ministry’s mandate deliver tangible benefits to communities and citizens
