The Parliament of Ghana is set to begin deliberations on the Mid-Year Budget Review for the 2026 Financial Year on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026. The announcement was made by Mahama Ayariga, the Majority Leader and Chairman of the Business Committee.
The Mid-Year Budget Review was officially presented by Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026. Following the presentation, Members of Parliament will engage in commentary on the review, with both the Minority and Majority Leaders scheduled to conclude their discussions by Thursday, July 30th, 2026.
Hon. Ayariga disclosed this information during the presentation of the explanatory memorandum on the Business Statement for the upcoming week, ending Friday, July 31st, 2026. He also noted that three government ministers are expected to attend parliamentary sessions to respond to a total of thirty-one questions raised by MPs.
The House is expected to adjourn sine die on July 31st, marking the end of the current parliamentary session.
