As Ghana’s Muslim community celebrates Eid Ul-Fitr on Monday, March 31, 2025, the Member of Parliament for South Dayi Constituency, Lawyer Rockson-Nelson Kwami Etse Dafeamekpor has demonstrated his solidarity with Muslim colleagues across the constituency, particularly in Tongor-Dzemeni, Peki, and Kpeve.
In a gesture of goodwill, Mr. Dafeamekpor donated bags of rice and cash to support the Eid Ul-Fitr celebrations. He expressed his warmest wishes, saying: “I wish you and your loved ones a joyous Eid Ul-Fitr filled with peace and blessings from Allah. May this special occasion foster unity and renew your commitment to serving our communities and the nation of Ghana at large.”
Anyadi aka Abor, CCO, South Dayi Constituency of the NDC in a statement said, the Muslim community has expressed its heartfelt gratitude for Mr. Dafeamekpor’s timely and generous support. According to the Chief Imams, “May Allah bless you from now and forever.”
“We appreciate your continued support and encouragement”.
