The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially released the timetable for its 2026 Constituency, Regional and National Executive Elections, setting in motion the party’s internal reorganization ahead of the 2028 general elections.
In a press statement dated 5th August 2026and signed by Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, Deputy General Secretary, the party said the Functional Executive Committee (FEC), at its meeting on Tuesday, 4th August 2026, directed the release of the comprehensive roadmap.

*1. CONSTITUENCY ELECTIONS*
– Nomination opens: Tuesday 15th September 7:00am – Saturday 17th September 5:00pm
– Filing of Nomination: Wednesday 23rd – Thursday 24th September
– Vetting: Friday 25th – Sunday 27th September
– Appeals: Tuesday 29th September – Thursday 1st October
– Elections: Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th October 2026
2. REGIONAL ELECTIONS
– Nomination opens: Tuesday 6th – Wednesday 7th October
– Filing: Wednesday 14th – Thursday 15th October
– Vetting: Friday 16th – Saturday 17th October
– Regional Youth & Women Conference: Friday 13th November
– Regional Elections: Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th November
3. NATIONAL ELECTIONS
– Nomination opens: Tuesday 20th – Wednesday 21st October
– Filing: Saturday 7th – Monday 9th November
– Vetting: Thursday 12th – Friday 13th November
– Appeals: Sunday 15th – Monday 16th November
– Youth & Women Conference: Saturday 12th December
– National Congress: Saturday 19th December
All nominations will be done online via http://forms.ghanandc.com, with hard copies also submitted at constituency, regional, or national offices.
The NDC said the timetable reaffirms its commitment to “transparent, credible, and well-organized internal elections” in accordance with the party constitution.
The party urged all Regional and Constituency Executives, aspirants, and members to “carefully study the attached timetable and ensure strict adherence to all stipulated timelines”.
It further expressed confidence that the spirit of unity in the reorganization process “will continue to strengthen the Party as we prepare to secure an emphatic victory in the 2028 General Elections”.
