Dark forces within the relatively calm Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) are working tirelessly to change the atmosphere with their selfish ambitions.

The agenda of the forces is to create a charged atmosphere all in the name of getting the current Managing Director out.

What is making the whole agenda murky is the fact that those pursuing the agenda want to rope in the Workers Union to lead the charge.

The Director of Finance, Rev. Dr. John Okwesie Arthur and others have been fingered as leading the onslaught to create unnecessary tension at the GACL.

Sources within the GACL have it that there have been meetings among certain top management members and the union leadership all in the name of ensuring that appointing authorities effect changes to suit certain people.

The sources within the union say members are unhappy that those pursuing the agenda want the appointing authority to look like they don’t know what they are doing.

It has been established that Rev. Dr. Arthur was pushing one former Managing Director to help him to get appointed as the Managing Director although there is someone currently on the seat.

Apart from the former Managing Director, a minister in the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration is also working around the clock for Rev. Dr. Arthur.

Again, Rev. Dr. Arthur is said to have warmed his way through the newly appointed Deputy Director of the GACL, Madam Obuobia Darko-Opoku, all to ensure that he is seen as the man for the job.

The Director of Finance has been working with the GACL for well over one decade and has been deep in all issues bothering the GACL.

It is highly suspected earlier tensions at GACL because of falsehoods on some legitimate promotions were orchestrated by Rev. Dr. Arthur and his gang.

Meanwhile, some union members at GACL have vowed not to allow anyone to use them for their parochial interests.

They are of the position that the President who appoints people should not be stampeded in doing things but rather allow him to do things at his own time.

More To Come!
