The day was Saturday 29 August, 2026, and the Holy City of God, Shalom Shalom, which houses the Seventh Day Theocratic World Congregation was the venue where the church undertook the celebration of Trumpet Day.
And as the name of the occasion suggested, not only were songs of praises sung to Yahweh, but also Trumpets were sounded both mechanically via the trumpet instrument and also by way of mouth through songs/singing.
As usual, the church underwent its “ring-dancing”, this time with some difficulty as the milling crowd from within and without strived and struggled to do the dancing in the filled-to-capacity church room.
Clad in their blue and white worship attire, congregants drummed, sang and danced like never before to the glory of Yahweh, with instrumentalists doing their own thing, making the Trumpet Day celebration really triumphant.
Interestingly, this was preparing the way for the Church’s Atonement Day celebration scheduled for September 7, 2026.
TODAY IS A GREAT DAY. LET’S PRAY FOR ISRAEL.
Later in a sermon, Apostle Dr Kadmiel E.H. Agbalenyoh, Leader and Founder of the Church described the day as a great one. He however charged the church to pray for Israel.
The Apostle pointed out that though members of the church were happy celebrating the day, their brothers in Israel were under siege and bombs.
He was quick to point out that had Israel not been relegated to the backgrounds of the laws of Yahweh, no nation on earth could withstand it. He led the Church to pray profusely for the nation Israel.
DON’T REPLACE GOD’S LAWS WITH POLITICAL LAWS
The Apostle regretted that mankind should replace Yahweh’s Laws with his. He indicated that it was because of this that mankind was going through numerous predicaments on earth.
He subsequently charged the congregation to refrain from sin and do virtuous things so as to enable them to enter Heaven after death.
CHILDREN CAN SEND YOU TO HELL
Apostle Agbalenyoh also pointed out that due to bad parenting of late, most children had become recalcitrant and taken to plying on all media portals by watching all forms of vicious items.
According to him, if parents did not stamp their authority properly, it could lead them to hell.
The celebration was also done to usher in “The Atonement Day” Scheduled for September 7 2026: a celebration that attracts worshippers from all over the globe.
