TRIBUTE IN MEMORY OF VICTIMS OF THE FATAL HELICOPTER CRASH
The last two days have been the most devastating period of our lives as individuals, a party and above all, as a nation following the tragic loss of eight of our compatriots, some of whom I knew and had worked closely with .
In this period of grief, I pray the Almighty Lord comfort families of our fallen heroes. This is a loss for all of us as a nation but an even greater loss for the immediate families of the victims.
I will profoundly remember Dr. Murtala Mohammed, who I have known for a long time having been in parliament with him since the first time he entered the house as MP for Nanton and later, Tamale Central until Wednesday’s tragic incident which claimed his life and that of Dr. Edward Omaane Boamah (Minister for Defense) and the six other statesmen.
May the good Lord grant them peace and comfort wherever they are.
Signed
Hon. Peter Nortsu-Kotoe
