Parliament is expected to sit on Saturday 25th July 2026 due to pending businesses before the House.
Presenting the Business Statement for the tenth week ending Friday 24th June 2026, the Majority Leader, Mahama Ayariga explained further that, sitting on Saturday will allow the House to continue with commentary on the Mid-Year Review of the Budget Statement.
The Mid-Year Review of the Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government of Ghana for the 2026 Financial Year is expected to be presented by the Minister for Finance, Cassiel Ato Forson on Thursday 23rd July 2026.
Hon. Ayyariga, who is also the Chairman of the Business Committee, indicated that currently there are Four Hundred and Eighty-Six (486) referrals before Twenty-Seven (27) Committees awaiting consideration and report to the House. He urged Chairpersons to work on their referrals before the House goes on recess.
Four (4) Ministers are also expected to attend upon the House to respond to Twenty-Five (25) Questions during the tenth week.
