The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced the opening of nominations for its 2026 Regional Executive Elections.
According to a press release signed by the Deputy General Secretary, Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, on behalf of the General Secretary, and dated 29th September, 2026, nominations will officially open on Tuesday, 6th October, 2026.
The release said the exercise is in line with the general timetable earlier released with reference NDC/HQ/25-3/103 on 5th August, 2026, and marks an important stage in the Party’s electoral process.
The Party has encouraged all members who intend to contest for various Regional Executive positions to take full advantage of the process within the prescribed period.
Strict Online Payment; No Bank Drafts:
The Party stated that all payments for picking of nomination forms and filing shall be made strictly through the online portal (forms.ghanandc.com) via Mobile Money on all networks or through Visa Card and MasterCard.
It stressed that bank payments and bank drafts will not be accepted.
On requirements, the NDC said aspirants, proposers, seconders and endorsers must be members in good standing and must have fully settled their membership dues up to date.
Members with outstanding arrears have been directed to settle as nearly as possible..
The Party further urged all aspirants and members to conduct themselves with discipline, decorum and respect for the Party’s democratic values, to ensure a transparent, peaceful, orderly and successful electoral process.
