The Volta Regional Representative on the Council of State , Dr. Gabriel Kwamigah-Atokple aka Chief Tanko, says momentum is building steadily towards the Council of Ewe Associations of North America (CEANA) 2026 Conference in the United States.

In a statement posted on his social media handles, Dr. Kwamigah-Atokple said distinguished leaders and members of the Volta community are preparing to converge in Boston for the mammoth gathering.
“There is strength in togetherness, and it is refreshing to see the Speaker of the Parliament of Ghana, Rt. Alban S.K Bagbin as the Guest of Honour,” he stated.
He also mentioned the Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu; the Majority Chief Whip in Ghana’s 9th Parliament, Rockson-Nelson Etse Dafeamekpor; the Member of Parliament for Central Tongu, Alexander Hottordze; and many other distinguished personalities making their way to Boston for the conference.
Dr. Kwamigah-Atokple said the collective resolve to make the Volta Region great remains firm, adding that CEANA 2026 presents another opportunity for the people to come together, share ideas and strengthen the vision for a more prosperous Volta Region.
The CEANA Conference is the largest annual gathering of Ewes in the diaspora and serves as a platform for networking, cultural promotion and mobilizing investments for development in the Volta Region and Ghana at large.
