The Embassy of Ghana proudly hosted the Meeting of the Group of African Heads of Mission on 23 June 2026 at San Marco, Brasília, a gathering rooted in South–South Cooperation and the timeless ideals of Pan‑Africanism.

Nii Amasah Namoale, Ghana’s Ambassador to Brazil, welcomed colleagues from across the continent and reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to deepening collaboration among African missions. He highlighted the power of unity in advancing Africa’s shared goals and ensuring our continent speaks boldly and confidently on the global stage.
Ambassador Namoale also expressed heartfelt appreciation for the strong support of African nations at the United Nations in achieving the historic resolution acknowledging the trafficking and racialized chattel enslavement of Africans as one of humanity’s gravest crimes. A true victory for justice, remembrance, and dignity.
He further shared Ghana’s forward‑looking development agenda, including the Big Push infrastructure programme and the 24‑Hour Economy Programme, and invited the African diplomatic community to join the upcoming 2026 Investing in Ghana Webinar Series.
The meeting concluded with renewed energy, solidarity, and a shared commitment to Africa’s progress. Ghana also extends warm wishes to all African teams competing in the FIFA World Cup, your achievements inspire us all.
