The Acting Volta Regional Secretary and current Deputy Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ege Bright Kwashie, has officially picked his nomination form to contest the substantive position of Volta Regional Secretary.
This follows the official opening of nominations for the NDC Regional Executive Elections today, October 6, 2026.
According to a statement from his campaign communications team in Ho, Mr. Ege Bright’s decision to pick the forms answers the continuous call of the grassroots, constituency executives, and party elders who desire stability, innovation, and proven competence.
The statement noted that he has served the party faithfully through various seasons and successfully kept the engine running without a vacuum in the Volta Regional Secretariat.
Speaking ahead of picking the forms, Mr. Ege Bright Kwashie said: “Today marks another significant step in our collective journey to safeguard and strengthen the engine room of our party in the Volta Region. I am deeply humbled by the massive encouragement and trust reposed in me by our stakeholders across all 18 constituencies.
