The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will accommodate newly appointed Black Stars coach Carlos Queiroz in a 5-star hotel in Accra for the duration of his contract.
As a result, the official residence for Black Stars coaches at Airport Residential Area will be converted into office space, with the GFA opting for hotel accommodation for the coach instead.
The decision has drawn criticism from sections of the public, with concerns raised over the use of taxpayer funds to cover the hotel costs until the contract expires.
The move has triggered debate online. Critics describe it as unnecessary spending, while supporters argue that top-class comfort is needed to allow the coach to focus on reviving the Black Stars.
