Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Operations, Stan Xoese Dogbe, has praised Ghana’s exporters for their critical role in maintaining the country’s economic stability amid ongoing global and local challenges.
Speaking on the state of the economy, Dogbe described exporters as “frontline contributors” whose resilience and innovation continue to anchor growth.
He noted that despite disruptions in global supply chains and persistent domestic pressures, Ghanaian exporters have demonstrated adaptability, helping to sustain foreign exchange inflows and support key sectors of the economy.
He emphasized that their efforts have been instrumental in cushioning the country against external shocks, particularly in a period marked by fluctuating commodity prices and tightening international trade conditions.
Mr. Dogbe also highlighted the importance of strengthening policies that support export-led growth, urging continued collaboration between government and the private sector to expand market access, improve infrastructure, and enhance competitiveness.
His remarks come at a time when Ghana is seeking to diversify its export base and reduce reliance on traditional commodities, positioning exporters as central to long-term economic resilience and development.
